Sarah Caswell Exhibition, ‘Magnificent Spring Joy’ Thursday 7th February to Tuesday 11th June

‘MAGNIFICENT SPRING JOY’

We are delighted to announce that Sarah Caswell’s up-scale, vibrant flowers which evoke the joy of being alive and drinking in the Spring sunshine are making a welcome return to Creake Abbey.

Sarah is a Member of The Society of Botanical Artists, exhibiting annually in London and biennially at the Frankfurt Palmengarten. She has won the Peoples’ Choice Award twice. Sarah has exhibited annually since 2011 at the RHS Chelsea Flower show.  She has also exhibited across the UK (including Catto Gallery – Hampstead, Oxo Gallery – London Southbank, John Noott Gallery – Broadway).

Sarah fulfilled a major commission painting 36 pieces for the P&O Cruise ship Azura (launched April 2010) and was responsible for the seven metre long painting in the reception of P&O’s Britannia which was launched in March 2015 by HRH Queen Elizabeth II.  In 2014 her painting ‘Golden Sentinels’ was hung in the entrance hall of the winner of the RIBA Manser Medal ‘House of the year’. Other works are in private/corporate collections globally.

Sarah’s Studio & Gallery is in the pretty hamlet of Great Walsingham, surrounded by the North Norfolk countryside. You can visit Sarah there and see her working on new paintings. There is a permanent exhibit of original paintings in the gallery housed in a vaulted Norfolk barn.

Sarah continues to develop a growing range of items which depict her images including a wide variety of prints of all sizes and greetings cards. Her tableware, including melamine and glass tablemats and birchwood trays, is sought out for quality and durability as well as beauty. New to the range are limited edition, collectable, Italian silk scarves. Items can also be purchased online via her website – www.sarahcaswell.co.uk
